Laser Marking Machine introduction:

Laser marking machine can mark in a variety of different materials’ surface with a permanent mark. Marking effect is through the material surface to reveal the deep material evaporation, which engraved exquisite patterns, trademarks and text.

---The principle of laser marking machine:

1. “Thermal processing "has a high energy density of the laser beam (which is a concentrated energy flow), irradiated on the surface of the material being processed, the material surface absorbs laser energy, in the irradiation area to generate a thermal excitation process, so that the material surface (or coated Layer) temperature rise, resulting in metamorphosis, melting, ablation, evaporation and so on.

2. “Cold processing" has a very high energy photon, can interrupt the material (especially organic materials) or the surrounding medium chemical bonds, to the material non-thermal process damage. This cold work has a special meaning in laser marking processing. Because it is not a thermal ablation, so the processed surface layer and the area does not produce heating or thermal deformation.

----Marking materials difference:

I. YAG laser marking machine only can mark on metal materials, such as steel, brass, aluminum, etc.

II. Co2 laser marking machine main used to work on nonmetal materials, such as wood, leather, glass, paper etc.

III. Fiber laser marking machine can used on almost all the metal and nonmetal materials except wood and transparent materials(glass, acrylic).

IV. UV, green and Infrared laser main use in high-end extremely fine IC product marking, price is high.

NOTE: Due to YAG laser has so many consumable parts and difficult setting,so now YAG laser almost not selling in the market. Most work can be replaced by the fiber laser.

Co2 laser marking machine:

It can engrave on most non-metallic materials: paper, leather, wood, plastic, plexiglass, fabric, acrylic, bamboo, rubber, crystal, jade, ceramics, glass and artificial stone.

The co2 laser source can choose Chinese glass tube, and imported metal laser tube, the main brand is Synrad, coherent and Rofin.

The difference is the lifespan, the glass tube lifespan about 3000-5000 hours, the metal tube lifespan is about 20000-40000 hours.The metal tube can be air inflation for reuse.

STJ-80C	STJ-30C	STJ-30C-Flying

This model main adopt glass tube 50W,80W,100W,130 and 150W.All water-cooling.	This type with Synrad, coherent or Rofin metal tube, the tube is short, low power is air-cooling, The power has 10W, 30W, 50W, etc.	This type with conveyor belt for production line working, such as food package bags, plastic bottles, etc.

Fiber laser marking machine:

Fiber lasers are divided into two main categories: Q-switch fiber laser and MOPA fiber laser.

Q-switch: 10W,20W,30W, 50W (Main brand is Max and Raycus, Max is cheaper, and Raycus quality is better)

MOPA: 20W M1+,20W M6+,30W M1+,30W M6+,(LM1-60W/70W/100W/120W/150W/200W for choose, expensive, almost no use in marking)
